A Female's Use of the Internet

The internet is not always a good thing.

For years I had put off getting the internet at home, as I knew what I would probably end up using it for. This view was reinforced by a guy I once worked with, who said that most men are pre-programmed to look at porn on the internet (at home), and that resistance to this was futile because of its easy availablity. His parting words of wisdom were only get the internet at home if your (female) partner will use it more than you. In short I think he believed that the fairer sex would use this tool of communication in a much more constructive manor. Oh how mis-guided he was...

One day after work not so very long ago...

Partner: I have found these blogs at work

Me: What blogs?

Partner: Ones that describe deep desires and fantasies

Me: Have they got pictures?

Partner: Yes some do, but they are not like that

Me: So you are saying, you are sort of looking at porn at work?

Partner: No, as I said these are blogs describing feeling and issues often associated with sex, love, lust and dreams

Me: Why would anyone do that?

Partner: It allows people to express themselves to others anonymously

Me: Strange people, must all be women, a bloke would never do such a thing...

Partner: A lot of the popular ones are written by blokes...

The rest as they say is history and I'm now contributing to a joint one. So here goes...
